Born in Acapulco, Mexico to a musical family, Singer, Guitarist and Percussionist Carlos Navae started singing Mexican folklore and Cuban boleros from a young age before picking up the guitar, learning from his professional musician father.
Carlos now has made New Zealand his second home and has performed alongside recognised musicians from Australia, Holland, France, USA, Cuba, Brazil and Mexico.
His journey has given a great richness and depth to his music making each performance a unique journey of Afro-Latino musical genres that have been captivating audiences of Mexico, New Zealand, Australia & Europe.
